Hohenwerfen Castle - Falconry
Visit falcon flight shows, tilts and knightly banquets in the dream environment of the 900 year old Hohenwerfen Castle. The flight shows in July and August with the prince archbishop's hunting company on horseback are a special highlight in the Hohenwerfen Castle.
Salzburg Open Air Museum
The Salzburg Open Air Museum will offer you valuable and representative examples of rustic buildings and living tradition from past times. The fully functional ponds and pools still power the mills and saw mills and let the visitor look into the work and technology of that time. 60 buildings from the Salzburg districts of Flachgau, Tennengau, Pongau, Pinzgau and Lungau can be visited.
Vötter's Old-timer Museum
Vötter's Vehicle Museum is a real paradise for old-timer fans. You will find more than 150 cars from the 1950s and 1970s on a surface of about 1000m2. Admire many models from a BMW Isetta to Messerschmitt.
Ritzen Castle Homeland Museum - Saalfelden
The Ritzen Castle Homeland Museum - Saalfelden offers insight into the historical development of Saalfelden and its inhabitants. The range includes the biggest Christmas crib show of Austria, votive tables, residential culture and customs as well as archaeology and geology. Visitors will have the chance to admire the smallest minerals through special microscopes in the modern mineralogy department.

Interested visitors get understandable explanations on therelationships in the solar system, in our Milky Way and in the whole universe in the planetarium and at the telescopes, where they can observe the most beautiful celestial bodies.
