Due to the difficult, unpredictable current situation, which led to the temporary closure of our holiday resort until 29 May 2020, we have decided to change our booking conditions until the beginning of the winter season on 4 December 2020.
All confirmed bookings and future bookings for stays until 04/12/2020 can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before arrival due to the extraordinary situation. Your deposit will be fully refunded in the event of cancellation.
We want to take this step to ensure that you don’t have any additional worries on top of this trying time for us all.
Our staff at the reception are available every day and can be contacted via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone +43 6545 7303 for questions, information, reservation changes and bookings for a stay in spring, summer or the coming 2020/2021 winter season.
Kind regards from the small paradise,
The Hofer family
As of today, Friday 29 May 2020, the facilities at Sportcamp Woferlgut are once again open for you to enjoy without restrictions.
As difficult as it is for us, we have to do without handshakes and hugs even with our dear regular guests – safety first! However, we will be welcoming you with a smile.
Your holiday will be a bit different due to the new distance regulations; nevertheless, it will be truly wonderful. Staying true to the belief: “as many restrictions as necessary, as much freedom on holiday as possible”, the entire Woferlgut team will do everything in their power to make your holiday better than ever.
After the first corona cases in Austria were discovered, stringent measures were immediately put in place by the Austrian federal government. As a result, we now have only five current cases in the entire province of Salzburg (01/06/2020).
Since 29 May, it has been possible to travel without restrictions throughout Austria. As of 4 June, the majority of European countries are also allowed to enter Austria again without restrictions.
Working in close cooperation with the official epidemic officer of the Pinzgau region, Dr Peter Laszloffy, we have prepared ourselves very carefully for our reopening to ensure that you have a wonderful and carefree holiday. All areas of your holiday resort were visited and discussed in detail. We have placed disinfectant dispensers in all critical areas of your holiday resort. Our staff have also been trained in all hygienic matters with the utmost care.
As of 15/06, it is no longer necessary for guests to wear face masks (until this time, only in the reception area and entrance area of the restaurant). Of course, our staff, who are in direct contact with our guests, will wear a mask or visor. We take great care always to maintain the recommended physical distance of one metre.
The Woferlgut, with its 180,000 m² of space, ensures that there is always enough distance between each other at any given time. Due to the spacious design of the new “Water Worlds” with five pools, a water slide, numerous relaxation rooms, a gym and ample space, you will encounter only insignificant restrictions. According to medical experts, the coronaviruses cannot be transmitted via a waterborne route, i.e. pool water. Nevertheless, we pay close attention to maintaining the appropriate physical distance in pools and saunas. Furthermore, we are allowed to open the expansive wellness area with its five different saunas, provided that the minimum distance of one metre or 10 m2 per sauna guest or bathing guest is observed. The maximum number of people per sauna is clearly indicated in front of the cabin.
Even massages are permitted, as long as the special hygiene measures are observed.
We have carried out a small modification in the camping shop. There is a one-way system to ensure that physical distance of one metre is always maintained. The entrance and exit areas are separated.
In addition to relaxation, it is also important for us to show you our beautiful region. Mandi and Hans are at your side as usual and have once again prepared several sports, hiking and cycling activities. Sport and fun won’t be neglected this year either.
Following the advice of Dr Laszloffy, we have decided not to provide childcare this year. We were obliged to take this step because it is not possible to maintain the physical distance of one metre from our small guests and because both your well-being and that of our employees is of utmost importance to us.
Of course, the indoor and outdoor playgrounds, the children’s cinema, the Fun & Action room, the low ropes course and the recreational facilities are at your disposal without any restrictions.
As you can see, also this summer, nothing stands in the way of enjoying a carefree holiday experience.
We’re already looking forward to seeing you!
Helga and Wolfgang Hofer
