Important Information about IRONMAN 70.3 on 30 August 2026 in Zell am See

On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun will take place. The cycling course leads directly past Sportcamp Woferlgut. As a result, there will be extensive road closures and traffic restrictions throughout the day.

Please take the following information into account when planning your arrival and departure on this day:

Hotel guests – Arrival:

Your room will be available as usual from 2:00 pm. Due to the road closures, we recommend arriving in the morning and reaching Woferlgut by 11:00 am at the latest. You are welcome to leave your vehicle at the Woferlgut until your room is ready.

Our Pool & Wellness World can already be used before check-in, so you can relax at the Woferlgut while waiting for your room to be ready.

Camping guests – Arrival:

For camping guests, arrival on 30 August is only possible by 11:00 am at the latest or again from approximately 4:50 pm onwards.

If you arrive in the morning, we will arrange a parking space at the Woferlgut for your vehicle until you can move onto your pitch. If you are not arriving in the morning, please plan your journey so that you do not arrive before approximately 4:50 pm.

General departure information for 30 August:

For camping guests, please note that the regular check-out time of 12:00 noon will not be possible on this day due to the event. The campsite must therefore be vacated by 10:30 am at the latest.

Hotel guests departing by car on Sunday should also plan their departure by 10:30 am at the latest.

For guests continuing their journey via Zell am See towards Saalfelden or Salzburg, please also note that the Schmittentunnel will be closed from 12:00 noon to 4:15 pm. If you are travelling in this direction, you should therefore have passed through the area by 11:30 am at the latest.
